On December 20th, 2024, a male suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault, along with a female accomplice, was apprehended while attempting to cross back into Canada at the Houlton, ME border crossing.
The female, who was traveling with the wanted individual, was arrested for being an accessory to the crime. Both individuals were subsequently transported to the Woodstock Police Force office by members of the Street Crime Unit for further investigation.
As a result of the investigative efforts 19-year-old Takoda Christian has been formally charged with aggravated assault and 18-year-old Hannah McGuire has been charged with aggravated assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, and failing to remain at the scene of an accident. Both parties were held pending a bail hearing.
