Traffic Safety Campaign

On Friday, June 7th, the Woodstock Police Force, in partnership with the Department of Justice and Public Safety, launched a road and trail safety campaign. This initiative focused on improving the safety of both passenger vehicles and off-road vehicles (ORVs) in the community.

During the campaign, officers inspected over 200 vehicles, including several ORVs. These inspections resulted in the issuance of six compliance warning tickets for various infractions, such as expired registrations and inspection stickers. Additionally, two dirt bikes operating illegally within town limits were taken off the road.

The Woodstock Police Force is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all road users and appreciates the public’s cooperation in following traffic and safety regulations.
